Springville Man Arrested After Child Ran For Help During Domestic Fight

(SPRINGVILLE) - A Springville man was arrested Friday night after officers were called to home on Ind. 54 West in Springville.

According to Sheriff Sam Craig, officers were contacted after a child had ran to a neighbor's to report a domestic fight.

When officers arrived they arrested 27-year-old William Thompson on charges of domestic battery and resisting arrest.

Craig says when officers told Thompson he was going to be arrested, he became combative.

Sheriff Craig says the victim, a female, refused medical treatment at the time of the call.
