(BEDFORD) - Three people were injured after the vehicle they were in was side-swiped on Avoca Eureka Road Sunday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 19-year-old Josie Mollet was traveling south on Avoca Eureka Road when a white Ford pickup truck travelled across the center line and side-swiped her 1998 Kia Sephia and then fled the scene.
According to police the Ford flat-bed truck continued traveling north on Avoca Eureka Road.
Mollet, of 606 Middle Leesville Rd., suffered injuries to her left arm and nose. Her passengers, 42-year-old Danette Payton, of 172 Carver Lane, suffered minor cuts and bleeding to her neck. 18-year-old Jesslyn Mollet, of 606 Middle Leesville Rd., complained of head and neck pain. All three were treated at the scene by an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew and first responders from Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Anyone with information about the white Ford flat-bed truck is asked to call the Lawrence County Police Department.
