(ORLEANS) - Each year the Spring Mill Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 172 gives three $500 dollar scholarships to be used for higher education.
Scholarships will be given to a graduating senior from Bedford North-Lawrence High School, Mitchell High School and Orleans High School.
This year Orleans Police Chief Roy McFarland presented the Orleans High School scholarship in memory of Orleans Police Officer Edward E. Moffatt to Orleans High School senior Tia Nicole Pruett.
