(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police are investigating a pair of unrelated stabbings that happened Wednesday morning.
At 12:30 a.m. Daviess Community Hospital emergency personnel reported they were treating 28-year-old Francisco Lopez for a stab wound to his neck. Police say the stabbing took place in front of 114 West Main Street. Lopez was treated and released.
Meanwhile around 1:51a.m. hospital emergency room personnel called police again, to report they were treating 29-year-old Larry Saulsberry for a stab wound to his shoulder. That stabbing took place near the intersection of Front and Greenwood Streets. Saulsberry was also treated and released.
Police say the two stabbings are not related and remain under investigation.
