(LINTON) - A Linton woman was arrested last weekend after she allegedly punched her roommate several times.
According to Linton Police, 24-year-old Davia LeMasters-Pabey became angry because her roommate was moving and as she was taking items to an outside garage the two began arguing.
That is when LeMasters-Pabey began punched her roommate in the left eye breaking her glasses and then punched her in the head two more time. As the roommate walked back into the house to gather more of her belongings, LeMasters-Pabey came up behind her and punched her two more times in the head. The roommate suffered bruises, swelling and bleeding.
LeMasters-Pabey told police that she was angry and the two were fighting about who would take the furniture and that during the verbal argument her roommate the two were so close that their noses touched and she hit her roommate because she was too close to her.
LeMasters-Pabey was arrested on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury. She posted a $100 bond and was released from jail on Sunday.
