Woman Killed After Struck By Train

(GIBSON CO.) - A Montgomery woman was killed Thursday after being hit by a train in Gibson County.

WFIE is reporting that the accident happened just after 2pm Thursday in Haubstadt.

Coroner Barrett Doyle says 66-year old Lydia Weaver walk out in front of the train and was killed.

Officials do not suspect drugs or alcohol played a part in the accident.

The official cause of death is blunt force trauma. The investigation into the incident continues.
