(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are investigating an armed robbery of the Check into Cash business in the Walnut Park shopping area.
Officers were called to the business after a report of a robbery at 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
The clerk told police a 6-foot tall man wearing a mask and armed with a silver handgun, entered the business and demanded money. The clerk complied and the man fled.
A short time later officers issued a request that officers be on the look out for maroon 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe with a black male driver, with thin build, dark shorts and shirt and carrying a silver handgun.
The man is a suspect in an armed robbery at the Check To Cash in Bloomington.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
