(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman arrested after police say she was dealing heroin from a home with three children present.
26-year-old Nicole LuAllen is facing felony charges of dealing in a schedule I controlled substance and maintaining a common nuisance.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Bedford Police Officer Justin Dodd, who is a member of the Drug Task Force, conducted surveillance at LuAllen's home in the 300 block of 19th Street after he received several tips that LuAllen was dealing heroin out of the home.
Within 35 minutes of watching the home, four vehicles arrived. Officers stopped one of the vehicles for a traffic violation and found heroin. The driver told police he had purchased the drug from LuAllen.
While police were still watching the home, five more vehicles made short visits.
Officers obtained a search warrant and found LuAllen and three children in the home. They seized syringes, baggies with a brown powdery substance and a brown rock-like substance that all tested positive for heroin, a cell phone, a notebook containing buy notes, a digital scale, pills, and pipes used for smoking illegal drugs.
