(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after another motorcycle rider pulled in front of her 2000 Honda motorcycle Sunday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 68-year-old Denny Simmons of Bedford was on E Street and attempting to turn left onto U.S. 50 East when he pulled into the path of 48-year-old Charity Elliott's motorcycle.
Police say Elliott, of Bedford, traveling west and coming down the hill on U.S. 50 and had to lay her motorcycle down to keep from hitting Simmons' 2006 Yamaha motorcycle.
Elliott suffered abrasions to her hands, knees and feet and was taken to IU Health Hospital for treatment. Simmons was not injured.
