(BLOOMFIELD) - 18-year-old Wesley Sipes was arrested Thursday after allegedly stealing from the Bloomfield IGA.
Bloomfield Town Marshal Kenny Tharp was called to the store shortly before 3 p.m. after a witness saw Sipes shove an item down the front of his pants and then left the store.
The store co-owner followed Sipes out of the store and saw Sipes remove a container of Nestle Coffee Mate.
Marshal Tharp says Siped admitted to taking the creamer, but refused to answer any other questions about others involved. He was arrested and charged with felony theft.
His bond was set at $4,000 with an optional cash amount of $400.
