(UNDATED) - The Tri-State Better Business Bureau says a computer tech support scam is making the rounds again.
The BBB says it's received calls from people reporting they were contacted by someone saying they were a Microsoft technician willing to assist with the removal of viruses or malware from their computer.
The purpose of these calls is to gain remote access to your computer.
Consumers need to be aware that Microsoft and other companies offering technical support do not place such phone calls.
