(LYONS) - A Lyons man is facing 10 preliminary charges after he allegedly battered two women in May.
24-year-old Patrick Hamm, was arrested after police found him beating on Lyons Town Marshal Ron Sparks' door.
When officers arrived they found Hamm banging on the door and screaming. Sparks who was off-duty would not answer the door.
According to police, earlier Hamm had allegedly had been in a fight with a woman and had attempted to strangle her and pushed and punched her in the back twice.
He then threatened and pushed another woman and threatened to kill both women and their family members. He was arrested and is facing charges of possession of a legend drug, strangulation, intimidation, battery resulting bodily injury and domestic battery, resisting law enforcement, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.
