(PATOKA LAKE) - Indiana Conservation Officers arrested a Corydon man late Saturday night on Patoka Lake.
52-year-old Michael Price was charged with Operating a Motorboat while Intoxicated and incarcerated at the Orange County Jail.
Just before 10 p.m., Indiana Conservation Officers were concluding a dive operation and body recovery when they observed a boat exceeding the nighttime speed limit.
During a subsequent boat stop, conservation officers suspected impairment and transported Price to the Orange County Jail where he was later incarcerated.
Indiana Conservation Officers strongly encourage boaters to avoid excessive alcohol consumption when aboard watercraft.
Citizens are also encouraged to report possible impaired boaters by calling Indiana Conservation Officers' Central Dispatch at 812-837-9536.
