(BEDFORD) - Parks Director Mike Mitchell says said revenue was approximately $8,000 ahead of this time last year at Otis.
However, both shelter rental and revenue from John Lowery Municipal Pool are down slightly.
He reported the old fencing at Wilson Park has been removed and new posts will be set soon. The new diamond will be used for fast-pitch softball and Little League baseball.
Three full-sized tennis courts are planned in the area adjacent to the right-field line.
Crews have planted grass in the upper field at the soccer complex at Otis but it has been slow to take root but the lower field is coming along well.
Sidewalks have been poured at the facility and new playground equipment should be installed by the end of July.
