(BEDFORD) - Four Mitchell teens were cited into court Sunday afternoon after police stopped the vehicle they were in for speeding on 16th Street and Dental Drive.
When officers walked up to the vehicle they detected the distinct odor of burnt marijuana.
A K-9 was called to the scene and alerted officers to possible drugs in the vehicle. Officers found a cigarette package that contained marijuana, drug paraphernalia and one of the girls had a smoking device in her bra.
The 17-year-old male is facing charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco and maintaining a common nuisance.
A 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old and 15-year-old girl are facing charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco and visiting a common nuisance.
All three were released to their parents.
