(LINTON) - Brilee Parker and Emma Brewer were named Linton Freedom Festival Queen and Princess at the festival’s annual pageant Saturday night.
Parker, the daughter of Chuck Parker and Beth and Scott Wolfe, was crowned queen, while Brewer, the daughter of Kent Brewer and Ronda and Tyler Naas, was crowned princess.
Morgan Wolfe, the daughter of Trevor and Tammy Wolfe, was named first runner-up in the queen competition. Rounding out the queen's court were Olivia Sparks and Lauren Hauser.
As Freedom Festival Queen, Parker will be awarded a $500 scholarship, while Wolfe, as first runner-up, will receive a $200 scholarship.
In the first ever princess pageant, Makayla Fulton, the daughter of Heather and Jason Fulton, was named first runner-up. Rounding out the princess court were Hunter House, Madison Millick and Morgan Sparks.
As princess, Brewer will receive a prize package valued at more than $375, while Fulton, as first runner-up, will receive a prize package valued at more than $225.
Royalty seems to run in Brewer's family as her mom was crowned Linton Freedom Festival Queen in 1990.
