(BEDFORD) - Bedford City Planning Director Dan Kirk told the Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals Tuesday that parking will not be a problem at Stonecutters Place, the senior apartment complex being built at 16th and K streets as part of the Stella project.
Under the city's planning and zoning rules, the apartments must have two parking spaces for every dwelling.
There were questions about whether that many parking spaces could be provided in the area. Hoosier Upland, which is developing Stonecutters, now plans to build 30 units, which would require 60 parking spaces and there is plenty of room on the property for those spaces.
