(PATOKA) - The 23rd Annual Astronomy Star Party at Patoka Lake is scheduled for Saturday, July 19th at 10 p.m. at Patoka Lake Beach.
Members of the Louisville & Evansville Astronomical Societies and the Stonebelt Stargazers of Bedford will share their knowledge of the sky above.
There will be kid's activities and giveaways until dark.
A special astronomy program will be held under the tent on the beach.
Telescopes will be set up for observations of Mars and Saturn as darkness falls.
The entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents and $7 out of state is required for reservoir.
