(BROWNSTOWN) - More than 1,500-pounds of ice bound for the Brown County area never made it Saturday morning after the delivery truck carrying it was involved in a crash west of Brownstown.
According to Jackson County Reserve Officer Scott Davis, the accident happned at at 8:13 a.m.
31-year-old Jeremy Scalf, the driver of a 1999 International box truck, told police he was driving north in the 3500 block of State Road 135 when he failed to negotiate a curve.
Scalf, a driver with Cosner Ice Co. in Bedford, was not injured in the wreck,
