(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Farmers’ Market has new vendors joining weekly.
The market is held on the west side of the square Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., and on Tuesdays at Harp Commons on the west side of the square from 3-7 p.m.
Besides fresh garden produce, there are three meat vendors who sell locally raised beef, pork and chicken and bakers who bring fresh baked cinnamon rolls and pies.
Custom ordering is also available. Orders can be made with one of the meat or baking vendors.
On Saturday, Sally Taylor, a registered massage therapist, will be visiting the guest booth. She will give chair massages at $1 per minute, with 10 minute limits.
Bedford Farmer's Market has been given a booth at the Lawrence County 4-H Fair, courtesy of the IU Health Bedford Hospital. The booth will be in the commercial building on July 14-19 from 5-9 p.m. There will be locally made crafts, jams, garden produce and more.
Bedford Farmer's Market invites local musicians to schedule a slot for performing at the markets, and local community civic groups to host an information booth.
