(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Public Library will host a Little Free Library Community Celebration in the library parking lot at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The free event will introduce the Little Free Libraries into the community.
With grants from Duke Energy, Redbox, and OnlineComputer Library Center Inc., the library purchased 10 Little Free Library kits, which were put together by organizations and people in the Bedford community. These Little Free Libraries will be on display at the Community Celebration before being placed in locations around Bedford.
Little Free Libraries provide a place where people can take a book and leave a book free of charge.
Thursday's celebration will feature a bounce house, face painting, snow cones, balloon animals and popcorn. A movie will be shown inside the library beginning at 8:45 p.m.
