(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man was arrested after he was found passed out and lying beside his scooter on the Milwaukee Trail.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers received a call at 7:04 p.m. Friday reporting a man was passed out on the trail.
When officers arrived they walked the trail and found 53-year-old Richard Cobb passed out by his scooter. Officer attempted to help Cobb up but he became combative and verbally abusive with officers.
"After Mr. Cobb was finally on his feet and was taken from the trail he then began kicking at officers," Parsley says.
Cobb was arrested on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
