(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested after officers were called to a home in the 3200 block of South Walnut Springs Drive, at 12:46 p.m. Saturday.
A 23-year-old woman reported she was pushed up against a wall and strangled by 25-year-old Thomas Acord following an argument.
According to Bloomington police, the woman told the man she did not want to be in a relationship anymore. Acord became angry and then threw two televisions on the floor. That caused the woman to throw some of his things against the wall.
The woman then alleges that Acord then grabbed her around the throat, pushed her against the wall and threw her to the floor.
Police say the woman suffered red marks around her neck.
