(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police arrested a man after he threatened another man with a knife.
Officers were called to the 300 block East Kirkwood Avenue, at 4:01 a.m. Tuesday after a homeless man and woman told police Kent Grantham had been following them around the downtown area.
The woman reported that the man had been following her all day and had made several lewd remarks to her.
The couple called police after Grantham allegedly pulled a knife on them. As they were calling police they say Grantham threw the knife in the bushes and sat on the ground. When police arrived 50-year-old Grantham told police he threw the knife on the ground hoping the other man would pick it up and stab him with it.
Police arrested 50-year-old Grantham on a charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon.
