(BEDFORD) - The Fifth Annual Rock-A-Hula Luau is slated for August 1 at 6:30 p.m. at John Lowery Municipal Pool.
Gary Dorsett, Bedford's recreation director, says it is time to don your floral necklaces and grass skirts in preparation for the city's favorite pool-side party.
The event, orchestrated by Jordan Cole, features two hours of swimming, music and refreshments. The tropical soiree is free, but tickets are limited and available at Thornton Park prior to the party.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
"We need to thank Steve Warren and the good folks at Bedford Ford for helping make this happen," Dorsett said. "We're expecting a big crowd and a really good time."
