(HELTONVILLE) - A Heltonville man was injured Wednesday night after a deer ran into the path of his 2003 Honda motorcycle causing him to crash on Meadows Church Road.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, officers were alerted about the wreck after an employee at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital called to report they were treating 32-year-old Christopher Meadows in the emergency room.
According to police, Meadows was traveling west on Meadows Church Road when a deer ran from the south side of the road and struck the VT 750 motorcycle.
Meadows suffered shoulder and upper arm injuries.
