(BLOOMINGTON) - I-69 won’t be extended to Bloomington until the end of 2015.
The last leg of the interstate extension, 27 miles from Crane to Bloomington, was supposed to open to traffic by the end of this year.
But Will Wingfield, spokesman for the Indiana Department of Transportation, says numerous weather delays have pushed the project back, "particularly the moving of dirt, which is the primary activity.
