(BEDFORD) - A Loogootee man was arrested after he was found stumbling in the area of Stone City Christian Academy early Monday morning.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the area of 26th Street at 4:38 a.m. after a report of a suspicious man near the school.
"Officers had dealt with 26-year-old Jacob Bundy earlier in the evening and had taken him to a relative's home where he was told to stay inside and sleep it off," Parsley says. "However he chose not to do that, which ended up with him being arrested."
Bundy was charged with public intoxication and taken to jail.
