(DUBOIS CO.) - A semi-tractor trailer carrying animal fat overturned Saturday morning after running off the side of State Road 64 near State Road 161 in Dubois County.
According to a Dubois County police report, 53-year-old Bernard Jackson of Linton was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle that stopped on the highway to turn into a private driveway.
The semi that Jackson was driving went off the roadway and overturned, spilling part of its load.
Jackson, who was trapped inside the cab of the semi, was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
