(BEDFORD) - 29-year-old John Luttrell, of Bedford was arrested on a warrant was arrested on a warrant for making and possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Bedford police witnessed Luttrell and a woman purchasing pseudoephedrine from Walgreen's and CVS Pharmacy to make meth.
They then drove to a home on R Street and when officers entered they saw the drug and rubber gloves on a table in the living room.
Luttrell's son who was in a baby walker was also in the room.
Luttrell signed a consent to search form. Officers found two plastic bottles, numerous coffee filters and empty pseudoephedrine boxes and rubber gloves in an outside trash can and two grinders with a white powdery substance and coffee filters in a bedroom and computer room that all tested positive for meth.
They also found plastic bags that contained meth and a straw to ingest the drug in Luttrell's pocket.
Luttrell admitted he was a meth user, but that a different person was making the drug at his home. He also o admitted to buying ingredients for meth.
