(ORANGE CO.) - The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a string of church burglaries that have occurred since July 18th.
According to Chief Deputy Josh Babcock, churches that have been burglarized include Old Union, Liberty, Valeene Christian and Stampers Creek Churches.
The most recent burglary occurred at Stampers Creek and the suspects left police a message - they would not be caught and signed it the Church Bandis.
Babcock is urging everyone to keep an eye on their surroundings and the churches and anyone who sees something suspicious is urged to call the Sheriff's Department at 723-2417.
