(Ferdinand) - A rollover crash on Interstate 64 just west of Ferdinand injured a Henderson, Kentucky woman and totaled her vehicle.
Senior Trooper Brian LaRoche reports that at approximately 12:10 P.M., Tiffany D. Hagan, 27, Henderson, KY, was traveling westbound on Interstate 64, just west of the 63 mile marker (Ferdinand Exit), when her dog jumped into her lap, causing her to lose control of her 2000 Ford Explorer.
Hagan rolled the SUV three times over into the median where it came to rest.
Hagan was transported to Memorial Hospital in Jasper after suffering bruising and cuts. Hagan was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, which greatly reduced the severity of her injuries. No charges were filed.
Troopers were assisted on scene by Ferdinand Police and Fire, and Dubois County EMS.
The Indiana State Police wants to remind motorists to use extra care while traveling throughout the Fourth of July weekend.
Slow down, buckle up, and focus on safe driving.
