(GREENE CO.) - Two were arrested on drug charges after police found meth and marijuana.
According to an Indiana State police report, 33-year-old Corbin Bixler of Ellettsville and 19-year-old Autumn Arnold of Bedford were both arrested on warrants Thursday.
According to police on July 20th officers were on patrol on State Road 43 in Greene County around 2 a.m. when they spotted a Ford pickup pulled off to the side of the road just south of Quarry View Lane.
When police approached the vehicle and asked if everything was okay, Bixler, who was in the driver's seat, replied, "Officer please excuse me, my pants are unbuttoned". After re-buttoning his pants, Bixler reportedly explained that he and Arnold had been driving around when they parked the vehicle on the side of the road to solve an argument.
Police determined Bixler's driver's license was suspended and noticed the smell of burnt marijuana.
During a search of the truck, officers found a glass smoking device with burnt residue inside it on the floorboard that tested positive for meth.
Arnold told police the two were parked on the side of the road to smoke marijuana and to have sex.
Both are facing charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
