(BEDFORD) - Two women were arrested after they exited Walmart wearing stolen clothing.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to Walmart at 11:10 p.m. Sunday after a lost prevention officer stopped 18-year-old Tanaea Harkness of Springville and 18-year-old Danielle Martin of Bedford.
"The lost prevention officer stopped them as they exited the store," Parsley says. "The women had stolen several items and took WalMart clothing into a restroom and changed into them. They also had stolen items in a bag."
Both women were arrested on a charge of theft.
