(MILTON, Ky.) - 21-year-old Jennifer Ludgergan died in a two-vehicle accident Monday on Highway 36 in Milton, Kentucky.
Ludergan, a 2012 Paoli High School graduate who now lives in Huntingburg, was driving a minivan on Highway 39 headed to Milton when she attempted to pass another vehicle and crashed head-on into a car driven by 41-year-old Michael Hancock-Eccles of Madison.
According to the news release, conditions Monday were "very foggy".
The Trimble County Coroner pronounced Ludergan died at the scene. Hancock-Eccles who suffered serious injuries was flown to University of Louisville Hospital.
According to the press release, the accident is still under investigation.
