(BLOOMFIELD) - The Bloomfield Apple Festival Committee is now accepting Queen contest applications.
The contest is open to Greene County girls in grades 9 through 12, and applications must be submitted by Aug. 29.
The Queen contest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, with the interview portion beginning at approximately 2 p.m.
Applications are available at high school offices throughout the county and on the Apple Festival website.
