(BEDFORD) - Bedford police were called to the woods behind the Budget Inn after they received a report of a man tied to a tree.
According to police, they received a 911 call at 3:37 p.m. from a man who had been walking the railroad tracks behind the motel and discovered the man bound to a tree.
Police rushed to the scene and found the man bound from head to toe to the tree.
"We were expecting the worse," says Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, "But the man told officers that he had tied himself to the tree as a part of a sexual gratification act. After wrapping the rope around his body, he then used some type of slip knot to secure his hands behind the tree. His sexual partner was to then come to the location and free him."
The man was clothed.
Parsley says the man did nothing criminal so no charges were filed.
