(BEDFORD) - A Bloomfield complained of neck pain after the vehicle she was riding in was hit at the traffic light at 15th and L streets Sunday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 62-year-old Robert Bristentine of Heltonville was stopped at the traffic light at 15th and L streets and the light turned green, so Bristenine began traveling north on L Street when his 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 was hit in the side by a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire driven by 57-year-old Jannie Ashley of Bedford.
Ashley told police she was traveling west on 15th Street and the light was red but she thought it was going to change when she drove through the intersection.
She admitted the light was still red when she entered the intersection and the accident was her fault.
A passenger in the truck, 62-year-old Carol Brisentine of Bloomfield, complained of neck pain. Ashley and Robert Bristentine were not injured during the incident.
Ashley was cited for disregarding an automatic signal.
