(BLOOMINGTON) - The city of Bloomington has hired an outside financial consulting firm to assist with budget preparations.
In the aftermath of Controller Sue West resigning June 2, the city was left without a leader to organize the 2015 budget.
Deputy Controller Donna Slater had been selected as interim controller, but a week after West's announcement, Slater also put in her resignation, effective mid-August.
