(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested 27-year-old Shawn Lagel after receiving a tip Thursday that Legal was involved in the robbery of Bloomington’s Check Into Cash store.
27-year-old Lagle was arrested early Friday morning at his home, on charges of robbery and possession of a controlled substance. Because Legal is on probation, he is being held without bond.
Police also discovered heroin in Lagle's wallet.
According to police, a friend of Lagle's admitted loaning Lagle his blue two-door Chevrolet Cavalier, knowing that Lagle intended to commit a crime. The car, with an unidentified man behind the wheel, was filmed by a surveillance camera leaving the scene.
