(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus woman was arrested after she got into a fight with her family and smacked a car repeatedly with a shovel.
Columbus Police Sgt. Matt Harris, says police were called to a home in the 3700 block of Ironwood Drive after 42-year-old Lucinda Valentine kicked open the door to her father's home and began striking his vehicle with a shovel
When police arrived Valentine allegedly began yelling at officers and other area residents.
She was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
When officers searched her purse before taking her to jail, they discovered a glass smoking device and prescription drugs that she was not prescribed.
That led to felony charges of possession of a legend drug and a legend drug smoking device and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance.
