(JACKSON CO.) - A Jackson County family was left with only the clothes on their backs and searching for a place to live after a fire burned their log cabin home to the ground.
Robert and Terri Reynolds and their high school-aged children were not at home at the time of the fire Tuesday afternoon, but their family dog -- a Chihuahua named Mickey -- and two rescue kittens were killed.
The two-story log cabin home, located in Grassy Fork Township at 6199 E. County Road 700S, was about 20 years old.
