(SPRINGVILLE) - A Florida woman was injured after he crashed his vehicle on Ind. 54 at Red Hill Addition Road Friday night.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 21-year-old Safena Ramdeo was traveling west on Ind. 54 West when police believe she fell asleep and missed the curve.
Police say Ramdeo's 2002 Isuzu Rodeo went off the north side of the road, went through some bushes and small trees and then continued for another 50 to 75 feet until the vehicle collided with a tree.
The total distance from the roadway to the point of impact with the tree was 200 feet.
Ramdeo was freed from the vehicle by firefighters from Bedford Fire Department and Perry Volunteer Fire Department.
Ramdeo told police she had been working a lot of hours and was tired and was attempting to drive to a home in Robin Hood Estates. Police say Ramdeo had not been drinking.
Ramdeo complained of pain to her left side and minor injuries to her left leg and arm.
