(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Community Foundation is inviting the community to an evening of dining and fellowship August 26 from 5:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. at Steve and Connie Ferguson’s Farm in Bloomington.
The event is a fundraiser for LCCF's operational fund and is being sponsored by Ralph and Mary Anderson, The Times-Mail and Lochmueller Group.

Steve Ferguson is chairman of Cook Group Inc., in Bloomington and served 12 years on the IU Board of Trustees. He also served as a member of the state's Higher Education Commission and Indiana's Education Roundtable. Other special guest include Clayton Anderson, Craig Bowden Bob Hammel, Bill Mallory and sisters Sadie and Samantha Johnson.
Anderson, a Bedford North Lawrence High School graduate, is a country music performer and a huge hit on college campuses and venues ranging from Chicago to Key West. His videos include "Summer Sun," "What You're Missin'" and "Right Where I Belong."
Bowden, also a BNL graduate, recently Claimed his third Indiana Open title. He has spent years on the PGA Tour. Indiana Open title.
Hammel, longtime sports editor of the Herald-Times, earned national acclaim for chronicling the IU sports scene for more than a half century. Hammel was named Indiana sportswriter of the year 15 times and is a member of the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Hall of Fame. He also penned books about Bob Knight and Bill Cook.
Mallory, a former head football coach at Indiana University, guided the Hoosiers to six bowl appearances during his first 10 seasons in Bloomington and ranks as IU's most successful football coach.
Samantha and Sadie Johnson are guitarists in the popular Bloomington band Sad Sam Blues Jam that recently finished its first tour. Samantha, a sophomore at University of Evansville this fall, plays bass guitar and already has authored two books. She is majoring in creative writing. Sadie, a lead guitarist, singer and songwriter who will be a senior at Bloomington High School North this year, just signed a contract to perform on the prestigious Girls With Guitars Tour which will kick off in Europe in 2015.
