(BICKNELL) - A Bicknell man is facing charges after deputies say a toddler ingested materials used to make meth.
Knox County Sheriff Mike Morris says officers went to the home Tuesday to arrest Richard Poe on a warrant for a May 2014 incident involving meth.
When officers arrived they had found the child had consumed meth residue. The child was taken to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment.
Poe was arrested on five counts, including neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury.
The Department of Child Services was called to investigate the incident.
