(JUDAH) - A Judah man was arrested after his wife called police to report he had punched her in the head several times and choked her during a domestic fight at the couple’s home Thursday night.
Lawrence County police received a 911 call from the woman just after 6 p.m.
Officer went to the couple's home on Maddox Lane and found the woman who told police she was having trouble breathing. The woman suffered bruises and had scratches on her arm and wrists. The woman refused medical attention.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig the woman told police her husband 52-year-old Jeffrey Plummer had hit her several times in the had and then grabbed her around the neck choking her during the fight.
Plummer was arrested on charges of domestic battery, strangulation and intimidation.
