(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man was injured after he crashed his Cadillac into a parked vehicle on Popcorn Road Monday night.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 42-year-old Scott McNeelan was traveling north on Popcorn Road when he drove his car off the west side of the road and stuck the driver's side of a 1986 Chevrolet pickup truck owned by Larry Abel.
McNeelan then continued north until he struck a REMC utility pole and then several small trees.
McNeelan was trapped inside and was unresponsive due to being intoxicated or injured or both.
McNeelan was freed from the vehicle by the Bedford Fire Department extrication unit and Perry Volunteer Firefighters.
McNeelan was incoherent and could not tell police what happened. Results from alcohol and drug tests are pending.
