(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Community Public Library will host book discussion featuring Lake Monroe Interpretive Naturalist Jill Vance on Tuesday.
The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Indiana Room.
Vance will serve as science leader for the discussion of T.C. Boyle's "When the Killing's Done."
The novel mirrors the real-life drama of plans to "re-naturalize" the Channel Islands of California. The novel portrays a committed environmental biologist promoting the National Parks Service's efforts to save the islands' endangered native species by removing invasive species.
The "Pushing the Limits" series is made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation through the Califa Group.
Light refreshments will be provided.
