(SALEM) - The second suspect in two robberies in Washington County has been arrested. 34-year-old Bridget Byrd, of Salem, who was wanted on a warrant turned herself in at the Washington County Jail Wednesday.
She is charge with two counts of aiding an armed robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Police say Byrd was n accomplice in two armed robberies - the first at J&R Liquors in Pekin and the second at Morgan's Market on State Road 56, east of Salem.
On July 31, police arrested 38-year-old Jason Pixle on charges of two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon. He is also facing a charge of intimidation with a deadly weapon in the Morgan's Market robbery.
