(WASHINGTON) - Jason Pixley is behind bars at the Washington County jail.
Detectives say Bridget Byrd drove him to businesses where he demanded money with a knife and got away with cash.
The first robbery happened July 24 in Pekin at J&R Liquor.
The second happened days later at a Subway in Borden and then detectives say the duo held up Morgan's Market near Salem.
"The male subject, that I guess came up with this idea, he's actually served time for armed robbery in the past," said Roger Newlon with the Washington County Sheriff's Department. He was released for armed robbery from prison, I believe in 2011, so this is not new to him."
Pixley and Byrd are facing several armed robbery charges in Washington and Clark counties.
